Universal Pictures' upcoming releasing movie, "Ambulance" is a high-octane action thriller directed by Michael Bay. The plot centers around a group of thieves who rob a bank and flee the scene in an ambulance, only to be pursued by police cars in a chaotic chase throughout Los Angeles.
The two main characters are Jake Gyllenhaal and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II who play brothers with a troubled past. When one of them desperately needs money for medical treatment, the other comes up with a plan to rob a bank, setting them on a collision course with the law.
The trailer suggests that the movie is going to be adrenaline-fueled and suspenseful, with lots of action and intense car chases. The teaser also hints at a tense relationship between the brothers, as well as a female character, played by Eiza González, who gets caught up in the heist.
The film is produced by Bay, James Vanderbilt, Bradley Fischer, and Will Sherak. The script was written by Chris Fedak. It promises to be another big-budget, visually stunning, and action-packed thrill ride from Bay, who is known for his blockbuster hits such as Armageddon, Transformers, and Bad Boys.
With its star-studded cast and the acclaimed director at the helm, "Ambulance" is looking like an exciting new offering from Universal Pictures to look out for in the near future. The movie is set to hit the theaters on February 18, 2022.
