200-kWh battery The Silverado EV RST First Edition and Work Truck are expected to use a 200-kWh battery pack. Range is estimated at up to 400 miles on the RST First Edition and 450 miles on the Work Truck (4WT variant). Eventually, Chevrolet will introduce 3WT models with an expected range of 350 miles.

The Silverado EV employs a 400-volt architecture, but a neat trick that allows the two layers of its battery pack to switch from a parallel to series connection for fast-charging, allowing it to charge at 800 volts and gobble electrons at up 350 kilowatts.
