The 2012 Kawasaki Teryx4 750 4×4 is actually an all-new model, with an entirely different chassis and a totally new and more powerful engine. Also different is the fact that it is available with or without electric power steering; a first for team Green on this type of vehicle.

As for the heart of the beast, the Teryx4 is powered by a liquid cooled, fuel injected, 749cc V-Twin engine – none of which sounds any different than the mill powering the original two-seat Teryx.

While we like to test out the top speed of most machines, we were only able to get the Teryx 4 750 4x4 up to about 40 mph, but that was not due to a lack of power, but due to the terrain.

Powertrain: Engine, Transmission, and Performance Kawasaki mates its 783cc fuel-injected V-twin to a CVT automatic with high, low, and reverse gears. That feeds into a transfer case with 2WD and 4WD. Up front, you get a manual locking differential.
