Summaries. Marinette and Adrien, two normal teens, transform into the superheroes Ladybug and Cat Noir when a mysterious evil threatens to destroy Paris. Marinette Dupain-Cheng, your average shy, clumsy high-school student is given magical powers, along with her crush, Adrien Agreste.

Thomas Astruc Thomas Astruc is a French animator, director, writer, and storyboard artist. He's is most known for creating and directing the TV series, Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir. He also directed Mikido and several episodes of Wakfu.

The show is the brainchild of French animator Thomas Astruc, who was inspired by Japanese anime and American comic books.

Adrien Agreste is one of the titular two main protagonists (alongside Ladybug) of Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir. He is a student at Collège Françoise Dupont and a fashion model.

As Cat Noir, he is more rebellious, carefree, and flirty. His weapon is a multi-functional staff and his special power, "Cataclysm", allows him to destroy anything he touches. As both Cat Noir and Adrien, he has a deep romantic attraction for Ladybug, unaware that she is Marinette.

However, I'd say it's safe for preteens and kids who are more mature, or in their later stages of childhood. But any parent should make clear to their young child watching, that they can enjoy the show, but should not do what the main character does. Even so, Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir is quite a gem.

Two of my favorite things about “Miraculous” include the characters and their friendships and romances. The different students in Marinette and Adrien's class are so unique. From their ethnicities to their appearances, the characters have so much to give to the show.

Although Adrien gains slightly longer, wilder hair as Cat Noir, the angle of the shot and maybe the voice pitch of the actor might misdirect some viewers into accidentally seeing him as a girl. However the end line is that Cat Noir is a boy.

Get ready to embark on a miraculous journey with Ladybug and Cat Noir - you won't be disappointed! Overall, I say this was pretty good and I enjoyed my time watching it.

A simple explanation of the love square (one of the biggest reasons why the show is popular): Characters A & B (protagonists) both have superhero identities that work together, but also know each other in real life. They are both unaware of each others' super hero status.
