The Audi Q5 is set to receive a major revamp with the upcoming new generation for the 2024 model year.

Audi's sleek and sporty-looking coupe-SUV has been given a mid-life update for 2023. The Q8 and SQ8 have been given mild styling tweaks, as well as some new interior technology. You'll have to look pretty hard to spot the styling changes over the old car, but they include tweaked headlights and a revised grille.

For the first time, Audi is equipping the Q8 with HD Matrix LED headlights, including a laser as an additional high beam. These headlights feature digital daytime running lights and selectable light signatures. Digital OLED rear lights with four selectable rear light designs complete the expanded light offering.

On 30 September 2016, Audi opened the 12th plant in the Audi production network in San José Chiapa, Mexico. The Audi Q5 premium SUV will be produced at this 460 hectare site. At 2,400 metres above sea level, the most modern Audi production facility is also the company's highest location.
