The wood used in our colored mulches is natural forest products that are by-products of the timber industry. The materials include discarded branches, bark removed before boards or cut and potentially poorly cut boards that have to be discarded at the mill. None of our colored mulches are specifically hardwood mulches.

It can be spread with a shovel or rake, and it doesn't take much effort to keep it looking great throughout the season. And because brown mulch breaks down slowly, you don't have to worry about replacing it frequently – it will last for several seasons before needing to be replaced.
