Post-it Colors of the World tv commercials

Post-it Colors of the World is a collection of sticky notes that adds a splash of vibrant color to your everyday office tasks. But these aren't just any old colors; they are inspired by the diverse cultures found around the globe.

The collection includes colors such as Bali, Marrakesh, Helsinki, Cape Town, and Rio de Janeiro, each showcasing the distinct hues of these locations. Bali, for example, is a deep, almost metallic pink, while Marrakesh is a warm, rich yellow. Helsinki is crisp and fresh, like a winter sky, while Cape Town is a muted green with hints of blue and gray. Finally, Rio de Janeiro is a bold and dynamic orange-red.

Beyond just their aesthetics, the Colors of the World collection reminds us of the beauty and diversity to be found in every corner of the globe. Whether you're jotting down reminders, leaving notes for coworkers, or organizing your to-do list, these sticky notes add a touch of global flair to your daily routine.

So go ahead and embrace your creative side with Colors of the World. Each note is backed with the classic Post-it adhesive, ensuring they stick securely and remove cleanly from most surfaces. Add a pop of color and a nod to global culture to your workday – one sticky note at a time.

Arthur FryAlan Amron Post-it note/Inventors

The Post-it Note Was Invented - By Accident (1968) When Spencer Silver, an employee researcher at 3M, was trying to create a stronger adhesive for the aerospace industry, all he ended up being able to create was a weak adhesive that could easily be removed without residue.

Yeah I have enough surface area to stick the things but easily remove without damage the paper is set through a giant oven dry the glue. And keep it stinky.

In 1968, Spencer Silver, a scientist at 3M's headquarters in Maplewood, was working to create a strong adhesive. Accidentally, he developed a new material that was light enough to easily remove and peel apart. Silver felt that he had invented something unique and useful but struggled to find what that use could be.

Post-It notes came about as a by-product of another invention. Dr Spencer Silver, a 3M scientist, invented a repositionable adhesive but didn't know what to do with it. A colleague of his, Art Fry, had the idea of a bookmark that would stay put in his church hymnal, and the rest as they say is history!
