Samsung Milk Music was a streaming music service developed by Samsung, which allowed users to access over 13 million songs on their devices. It was first launched in the United States for Samsung Galaxy smartphones and tablets in 2014.
One of the most unique features of the service was its "Dial," an interactive and engaging way to explore and discover new music. Users could turn the Dial to select a music genre, and then fine-tune their selection by choosing a sub-genre or mood. The service also offered a mini-player interface, allowing users to access their music while still browsing other content on their device.
Samsung Milk Music was available to Samsung users for free with ads, or for a monthly subscription fee of $3.99 with no ads. However, in 2016, Samsung announced that the service would be shut down, and users were encouraged to switch to the newer and more widely-used Spotify streaming music service.
While Samsung Milk Music may no longer be available, it will always be remembered for its unique and innovative Dial interface, as well as its large library of music content.
