Feed adult cats 3/4 - 1 oz per pound of body weight daily. Divide into two or more meals. Kittens need up to twice as much food as adult cats and should be fed all they will eat two or three times daily.

Meat By-Products – is the non-rendered, clean parts, other than meat, derived from slaughtered mammals. It includes, but is not limited to lungs, spleen, kidneys, brain, livers, blood, bone, partially defatted low temperature fatty tissue, & stomachs & intestines freed of their contents.

For starters, the rendering process used to create chicken meal (and other types of meat meal) results in a finished product high in protein. Because AAFCO feeding guidelines recommend protein as the most abundant ingredient in pet food, chicken meal is a convenient way to meet these requirements.
