The only hitch is that you need to keep the Shark VacMop charged - it lasts about an hour on a full battery - and you need to have a stash of replacement mopping pads and floor cleaning solution on hand.

If. Nothing comes out when spraying make sure the reservoir has shark vac mop cleaning solution when you're ready to dispose of the used pad. Simply hold it over the trash.

The suction mode you use will affect the battery life – for example, ECO mode allows the battery to last for a longer time, while BOOST mode will use more power to increase the suction and therefore will run out faster.

Instead of recharging it after every use or leaving it on its charging station constantly, we recommend discharging the battery completely after vacuuming. Why? Well, while you won't damage the unit by leaving it on the charger, you may be shortening its battery life.

In relative terms, vac-mop combos work much better than a wet Swiffer or robot mop (or other pad-style cleaner). But they are not quite as effective or versatile as a traditional wet mop (when used properly); for example, combos don't clean grout lines as well as traditional mops do.

Sometimes the battery may have gotten dirty or slipped away from its contacts inside the Shark robot vacuum. Cleaning and repositioning it may fix your problem. But if it's an old battery or there are clear signs of damage, you should order a replacement battery that matches your model.

The BMS doesn't only consist of the actual battery but also the circuitry and other components; together, they ensure the right range of voltage and current reaches the battery for a duration of time. So, in that respect, you can't overcharge your handphone or vacuum cleaner.

Shark is a vacuum brand that's known for building upright units. Many of them are inexpensive compared to the competition. You can expect a Shark vacuum cleaner to last to a decade with good upkeep and regular maintenance. Their warranty typically goes from one to five years.

A: I use the Shark solution, but I think if you prefer you could use water and vinegar. Or maybe just a drop of Dawn Dish liquid in water. The company does NOT recommend any other cleaning solution be used.
