Hasbro Littlest Pet Shop is a toy franchise and cartoon series owned by Hasbro. The original toy series was produced by Kenner in the early 1990s. An animated television series was made in 1995 by Sunbow Productions and Jean Chalopin Creativite et Developpement, based on the franchise.

The series is based on the Littlest Pet Shop and Blythe toylines by Hasbro and was broadcast on Discovery Family (formerly known as The Hub) from November 10, 2012 to June 4, 2016.

The movie is fast paced and original and does have some good underlying messages, but it is also full of violence and quite scary for younger children. Therefore it's more suited to older viewers, and we recommend parental guidance for children aged 8-10 years.

1948 LPs to the present day In 1948, thanks to CBS, we were introduced to the world's first LP (Long Play) vinyl record. Created by Peter Goldmark, this vinyl record had a capacity of around 21 minutes per side and was 12 inches wide, playing at a speed of 33 1/3 RPM.

In 1992, renowned toy company Kenner Toys released the new toy line "Littlest Pet Shop." The figurines had a realistic touch to them. Each set had an action, activated by a magnet or other simple mechanism. This was the first generation of LPS pets. G1 Kenner Toys LPS.

Littlest Pet Shop: Popular (colloquially referred to as LPS: Popular) is a pseudo-realistic teen drama series revolving around the rivalry and schemes of Savannah Reed and Brooklyn Hayes and their respective cliques and love interests.
