The Surface app is a lightweight Microsoft Store app that provides control of many Surface-specific settings and options with quick access to device information including serial number, Surface model name, UEFI version, and related drivers.

From your Surface Hub, start Settings. Type the device admin credentials when prompted. Navigate to Surface Hub > Apps & features. Select Open Store and search for the app you're looking for.

To see a list of your apps, select Start and scroll through the alphabetical list. Some apps are in folders within the app list - like Notepad, which is in the Windows Accessories folder.

Surface computing is the use of a specialized computer GUI in which traditional GUI elements are replaced by intuitive, everyday objects. Instead of a keyboard and mouse, the user interacts with a surface.

The apps you see in the Play Store are written to run on devices that use the Android operating system and some, but not all, Chromebooks. Your tablet runs the Windows operating system. They aren't compatible. That's like trying to buy a game for the Wii U and play it on your PS4.

Surface Pro 6 comes with:

Depending on your Android model, you may see a tab at the top of the menu that says "All" or an option that says "Show All # Apps" (with "#" being the number of apps you have installed). Select this option to show a complete list of installed apps.

You can see all the apps you've ever downloaded on your Android phone by opening the "My apps & games" section in your Google Play Store. The apps you've downloaded are divided into two sections: "Installed" (all the apps currently installed on your phone) and "Library" (all the apps that aren't currently installed).
