Mr. Bowen serves as Chief Executive Officer of In Touch Ministries, the non-profit global outreach organization of Dr. Charles Stanley. In Touch broadcasts in more than 50 languages, reaches more than 115 million homes domestically, and is on more than 2,800 television and radio stations worldwide.

Stanley began pastoring in 1957 at Fruitland Baptist Church in North Carolina, where he also taught homiletics, preaching, and evangelism at the Fruitland Bible Institute.

What is the Church's overall mission? "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation" (Mark 16:15, NASB). "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations . . . teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age" (Matthew 28:19-20).

“For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole” (Mark 5:28). This is about a touch of faith with confidence, trust and expectation that the woman had on the garment of Jesus Christ. Whether we touch Him, or He touches us, there is always a demonstration of His power.

When we turn from our self-ruled life and turn to Jesus in faith, we are saved. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith. People were created to exist forever. We will exist either eternally separated from God by sin, or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation.
