Putter grip profiles fall into one of 6 categories: Circle, Oval, Flat Oval, Pistol, Flat Wide, and Mod Pistol. One simplified method of determining putter grip size is to take the measurement of the width. Some manufacturers created their own sizing terms, like Super Stroke's 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, and 5.0.

According to the USGA Equipment rules, a putter grip can have a maximum diameter of 1.75 inches (44.45 mm) so grips close to this diameter size are considered to be within the oversize or jumbo putter grip category and generally seen as a bigger putter grip.

Great that's a good indication. That the putter is the right length. Okay. So if i was to you know grip a couple of inches down on this part my part is 35 i'll go down to say 33.

Now would it be a good. Idea. If you marked a couple of gloves up like this yes it would be a really good. Idea. You will be on the way to playing good golf if you just get your hands on this way.

Grip Core Size The inside of the golf grip is known as the core. It is the core to which the grip tape adheres holding the grip onto the shaft.
