Love is wanting what's best for those you love. We see this in many ways and its a main theme of the film. Elsa and Anna embark on this adventure to do what's best for Arendelle, and then Anna is forced to do what is best for the inhabitants of the Enchanted Forest by sacrificing Arendelle to the breaking of the dam.

At 21 years of age in the original film and 24 in the sequel, Elsa is a beautiful young woman, has a tall and slender build, blue eyes, rosy cheeks, thin pink lips, a small nose, long, platinum-blonde hair, and pale skin with a light dusting of freckles (a trait she shares with her sister Anna, though less prominent).

Throughout the film, Elsa heard a voice that she only can receive. This voice is later revealed to be a summons from her mother that directed her to the mystical realm Ahtohallan. She unintentionally succumbed to the mysterious voice and it causes the spirits to start a rupture in Arendelle.

The second film addresses loss, grief, depression, and how to find hope and personal growth through life's uncertainties. Because this is a children's film, even kids can learn these lessons from a early age and bring these lifesaving truths into their adulthood.

Although the sequel reveals how Elsa got her powers and offers insight into the mysterious death of her parents, Elsa does not get a girlfriend in the film.

It was about a woman's struggle and with being different. You very definitively said, "Elsa does not have a love interest in this movie." In the first movie, that was something that people found so refreshing.

Frozen 3 Cast Idina Menzel (Wicked) is back as Elsa with Menzel confirming her return but insisting she has not yet been given any details on the sequel. The same goes for Kristen Bell (The Good Place) as the lovable Anna.

What sets Elsa apart from the mass array of Disney princesses is her inner battle with mental illness, anxiety and depression.

Although Elsa's disability is encoded as a magical ice power, the language the film uses to talk about her condition maps on to the experiences of people with physical, mental, and intellectual disabilities in recognizable ways.

Canonically, Elsa of Arendelle, who sits upon the tiny northern kingdom's throne at the end of Frozen, is not queer. Canonically, she is not romantically interested in anybody.

Honeymaren, a member of the Northuldra tribe who was trapped in the Enchanted Forest by the curse, could return for Frozen 3 as Elsa's girlfriend based on the two characters' shared chemistry.
