The LG OLED77Z3 (195cm) and LG OLED88Z3 (222cm) premium TVs are the two largest 8K OLED TVs on the market. There's nothing like the LG OLED77Z3 and LG OLED88Z3 8K TVs to provide an immersive visual experience.

The TV comes with what LG calls the Zero Connect Box, which houses the standard HDMI plugs and other connections. The box then wirelessly transmits connected content to the TV from up to 30 feet away. The LG 97M3 OLED debuted at CES in January and CNET's David Katzmaier got an early look at the technology in action.

New C3, B3 and A3 OLED models There are, predictably, also new C-, B- and A-series models in LG's 2023 OLED TV line-up. The C3, B3 and A3 fill the same roles as their predecessors and largely have the same specs. The C3 is an OLED Evo model but it does without the heatsink and new MLA tech of the G3.

OLED TVs are the best-looking TVs you can buy, delivering extremely high image contrast, rich colors, smooth motion, and much better viewing angles than LCD TVs offer. They carry a higher price, but they're a worthwhile upgrade for anyone who is truly passionate about movies or gaming.

OLED technology allows for thinner, lighter, and more flexible displays than traditional light-emitting diode (LED) technology, as well as better picture quality in key respects. With an OLED display, light is produced with organic molecules, eliminating the need for a separate backlight.

The 97-inch Signature OLED M (model number 97M3) on show at CES is expected to be available in the US later this month for US$29,999. That makes downsizing to the 87-inch OLED evo M model a relative steal at $7,999, while the 77-inch OLED evo M makes even more sense at $4,999.

Bottom line. Until recently, picking the best TV for your needs was easy: If picture quality matters most, get an OLED. If cost and brightness drive you, get a QLED. But OLEDs have improved in brightness, and mini-LED tech has narrowed the gap in picture quality for QLEDs.

Wi-Fi 6, also known as 802.11ax, is the most recent Wi-Fi network protocol. Wi-Fi 6 delivers faster speeds and bigger data transfers, allowing more devices to connect to the same network without service interruptions. Wi-Fi 6 also provides WPA3 encryption, making it a more secure protocol than its successor, Wi-Fi 5.

That said, Wi-Fi speeds are surprisingly better. I regularly hit around 65/32 Mbps on the OLED and 30/29 Mbps on the original Switch. Then there's the 64 gigabytes of built-in storage you get instead of 32 GB.
