DIRECTIONS

1. Swallow one or two softgels as symptoms occur.
2. Do not exceed two softgels per 24 hours except under the advice and supervision of a physician.

This combination medication is used to treat symptoms caused by too much stomach acid such as heartburn, upset stomach, or indigestion. It is also used to treat symptoms of extra gas such as bloating and feelings of pressure/discomfort in the stomach/gut.

Phazyme Ultimate Phazyme Ultimate offers the strongest gas relief in one (1) Fast Gel.

This product is used to relieve symptoms of extra gas such as belching, bloating, and feelings of pressure/discomfort in the stomach/gut.

Phazyme® is also available in a 250mg (per softgel) dose. This higher-strength option enables users to medicate themselves with the maximum permitted daily dose of medicine in just two softgels.

Do not take more of this medicine than directed. Phazyme works best if you take it after meals and at bedtime.

Simethicone, the active ingredient in Phazyme®, is considered a safe treatment for gas symptoms. There is no required warning for pregnant or nursing women for this product. However, it is always encouraged for pregnant or nursing women to consult their doctor before taking any kind of medications.

Phazyme side effects Get emergency medical help if you have signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat. Less serious side effects may be more likely, and you may have none at all. This is not a complete list of side effects and others may occur.

For symptoms of too much gas: For oral dosage forms (capsules or tablets): Adults and teenagers - Usual dose is 60 to 125 milligrams (mg) four times a day, after meals and at bedtime. The dose should not be more than 500 mg in twenty-four hours.

If you take Gas-X Extra Strength (simethicone capsules and tablets) on a regular basis, take a missed dose as soon as you think about it. If it is close to the time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your normal time. Do not take 2 doses at the same time or extra doses.

Ask a doctor before using this medicine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. The liquid form may contain phenylalanine. Talk to your doctor before using this form of simethicone if you have phenylketonuria (PKU).
