Tresiba®, approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in September 2015, is indicated to improve glycemic control in adults with diabetes.

Despite new investments in our manufacturing sites, high demand for our medicines has led to a shortage of our FlexTouch disposable injection pens, which are used to deliver many of our medicines and are one delivery option for Tresiba in a 100 U/ml dose.

Tresiba FlexTouch is a disposable, pre-filled pen designed to be used with pen needles. Earlier this year, the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) announced that Tresiba FlexTouch 100units/ml pens would be out of stock in the UK between August 2023 and January 2024.
