USA Men Take 90-84 Nike Hoop Summit Victory Over World Team. Six Americans score in double-figures led the U.S. to a 100-79 victory at Moda Center in Portland, Oregon.

The Nike Hoop Summit showcases America's top mens and womens high school seniors against the best players from around the world who are 19 years old or younger.

Since 2008, the game has been held in Portland and has been a weeklong destination for every NBA team each April. Practices typically start the day of the NCAA Tournament Final and the festivities conclude with a 'USA vs. The World' game at the end of the week.

There are about 600 factories located in 46 different countries that exclusively manufacture Nike shoes. Out of these Nike vendors, about 36% are located in China and Vietnam each. Another 22% are located in Indonesia.

Scoring

1. If a shot is successfully scored from outside of the three-point line, three points are awarded.
2. If a shot is successfully scored from inside of the three-point line, two points are awarded.
3. If a team is awarded a technical foul then they will receive between one and three free shots.

The 2023 Nike Hoop Summit will take place at the Moda Center in Portland, Ore. The game will be televised on NBA TV on Saturday, April 8, at 10 p.m. ET.

The rims have always been 10-feet high since James Naismith posted 13 rules for a game he called “Basket Ball” in a Springfield, Mass., YMCA gym in 1891. The average height for men during that time, however, was 5-foot-6. Now, your average NBA player is 6-foot-7.
