When you take individual courses at SNHU, you'll earn college credit - typically 3 for an individual course. These credits may be transferred to other university degree programs (depending on the transfer policy of the university you're going to), or applied to an SNHU degree program if you choose to enroll in one.

Honestly the degree is worth it. It helped me land a new job and it wasn't viewed as any different. And with it being a non profit school it is cheaper and more reputable. I have a BA in Anthropology with Geospatial Technology from SNHU and it was worth.

One UK credit is equivalent to the learning outcomes of 10 notional hours of study, thus a university course of 150 notional study hours is worth 15 credits, and a university course of 300 notional study hours is worth 30 credits.

Credit transfer – you may be able to transfer any course credits you've already gained, but if the course you want to transfer to is very different, this may not be possible, and you may need to start the new course at the very beginning. This could mean another year of tuition fees, accommodation, and other expenses.
