In the Kingdom of Izmer, wizards use their magic to rule the land. Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves is certainly let down by the scale of its own ambition in places, but I still had fun - more fun than I've had watching a fantasy movie in years, actually. It's incredibly funny and overdelivers on the necessary ingredients to appease anyone who's ever rolled a 20-sided die.

Despite his youthful looks, Xenk is actually well over 100 years old, with his slow aging suggesting he could be anywhere between 150-200 years old. Xenk's slow aging is a result of narrowly escaping Szass Tam's death spell, which left him impacted by its powers and unable to age normally.

It all started with two people named Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson. Together, they wrote the first 50-page D&D rule book in 1973. It grew from two other games Arneson and Gygax had previously created. These were called Chainmail and Blackmoor.

Xenk is played by actor Regé-Jean Page. He was confirmed to be a paladin class via a promotional video played at the San Diego Comic-Con 2022's Tavern Experience.
