The Xfinity Web Remote works with any browser on a computer, tablet or smart phone. This allows the user to simply type in voice commands after selecting the microphone icon on the screen. The Xfinity Web Remote is also compatible with screen readers, eye tracking software, and sip and puff (SnP) devices.

How do I use voice control? Press and hold the Voice (Microphone) button while speaking a command into the microphone located at the top of your Voice Remote. Be sure to speak one to eight inches away from the microphone. Release the Voice (Microphone) button when you've finished the command.

Enable Voice Control

1. Press the xfinity button on the Voice Remote. Note: For remotes with no xfinity button, press the Home button to access the Settings menu.
2. Scroll to the gear icon and press OK on the Voice Remote to access the Settings menu.
3. Select Remote Settings. Press OK on the Voice Remote.
4. Select Voice Control.

Factory Reset the Xfinity Voice Remote Without a Setup Button (XR15)

1. Press and hold the A (triangle) and D (diamond) buttons at the same time for three seconds until the status light changes from red to green.
2. Press 9-8-1.
3. The LED will blink blue three times to indicate that the remote was reset.

Set the TV input to the input connected to the Xfinity TV Box. Press and hold the xfinity and Info buttons for five seconds. Wait for the Voice Remote light to change from red to green. Follow the instructions by entering the three-digit, on-screen pairing code.

On your remote control, press the microphone button. After the red LED on the remote control lights up, the voice search function is activated. You can then say your command into the built-in microphone. If your voice is not being recognized, refer to the Voice Commands that do not work on my remote control article.

1. Turn on your TV.
2. Press and hold the xfinity and Mute buttons together for five seconds until the light at the top changes from red to green.
3. Type the first five-digit code for the TV manufacturer. If the remote light blinks green twice, the code is correct.
4. Aim the remote at the TV, and press the Power button.

And then it says restart restarting. Your TV box may take a few minutes would you like to restart. And you can select cancel or restart.

Then I'll describe each buttons. Function rows one through three contain buttons that control TV functions. Like power and volume Row one TV power is on the left. And all power is on the right.
