Ranking the Best Universal Hotel for Families 2023

  • #1 Cabana Bay Beach Resort.
  • #2 Loews Royal Pacific Resort.
  • #3 Loews Portofino Bay Resort.
  • #4 Loews Sapphire Falls Resort.
  • #5 Endless Summer Dockside Inn & Suites.
  • #6 Hard Rock Hotel.
  • #7 Endless Summer Surfside Inn & Suites.
  • #8 Universal's Aventura Hotel.

Islands of Adventure may be the best choice if your child wants to some more thrilling rides. Another great place to go check out is Dr. Seuss World, where they can ride One Fish, Two Fish (similar to the Dumbo ride at Disney World, but includes water guns), a merry-go-round, and the Cat-N-Hat ride.

Rides at Universal Studios Orlando for 4-year-old & 5-year old. The cutest age to go to Universal in my opinion. My barely 4-year-old son rode all the rides below as they have a height limit of 40″ or 42″, plus all the other rides with lower limits. Some rides are more intense than others.

Universal Orlando Resort for under five-year olds is a great experience and with a few tips it can be even better. The resort offers a brilliant parent swap service. Here families can queue and when you reach the end of the ride one parent stays back with the child in a special room and then they swap.

Disney World definitely has more attractions for young kids, and Universal Studios might look like it just has thrill rides.

It's most suitable for kids 5+ years While there are two play small play areas for kids under 5 (Dino Zone and Super Silly Fun Land) almost all of the rides are geared towards kids 5+ years. There are height restrictions on all the rides, starting from 99cm to 120cm for the more high-intensity thrill rides.

When it comes to which Harry Potter park is better at Universal, Diagon Alley in Islands of Adventure is the clear winner. They have more shops, more merchandise, and the fun of trading your money for Gringotts bank notes. Plus, the younger kids will love the stuffed animals at the Magical Menagerie!

2 years old or Children 2 years old or younger are allowed to enter the Park for free (no ticket needed).

Recommended age: 8 & up (and kids must be at least 48″ to ride, even if they're immune to the motion).

I think the Universal parks are more appropriate for older children (say from the age they need an adult ticket -10 and up). They have more thrill rides there and more rides that require height restrictions. A lot of the rides seem to have a darker, scarier tone than the rides at other parks.

The best age for Disney World is between 3 and 12 years old, but people of all ages will enjoy the park.

There are plenty of attractions for little ones Disney Parks are all about creating magic for Guests of all ages. You may be surprised to learn that there are a ton of attractions and entertainment options with no height restrictions that the whole family can enjoy together!
