Neulasta is usually given once per chemotherapy cycle. The dosage in adults is one single subcutaneous injection of 6 mg administered once per chemotherapy cycle, at least 24 hours after the chemotherapy and at least 14 days before the next cycle.

Neulasta® Onpro® helps protect you from febrile neutropenia A study of 928 patients with breast cancer showed that when given once every chemotherapy cycle, Neulasta® helped protect against the risk of infection and reduced hospitalizations.

It is safe to remove the on-body injector after checking the following: The status light should be solid green. If the status light is flashing green, the dose delivery is not complete. Wait until you hear a long beep and the status light turns solid green before removing your on-body injector.
