Moto Z2 Play is a mid-range Android smartphone developed by Motorola Mobility, as the successor to 2016's Moto Z Play. As with other smartphones in the Moto Z series, it supports Motorola's magnetically attachable "MotoMods" modules.

The 2,560x1,440 resolution is what you would expect, with good colours and sharpness making the viewing experience comfortable. In spite of the extra robustness, the Z2 Force has not bulked up at all; with thickness measuring 6.1mm, it's one of the slimmest Android phones.

If you see an Android robot with a red exclamation mark or "no command", press & hold the Power button and, while holding it down, press & release the Volume up button. Use the Volume buttons to scroll to Wipe data/factory reset, then press the Power button to select it.

Durability and Display. The Z2 Force is covered in a water-repellent coating that can withstand rain and splashes, but it isn't fully waterproof like the Galaxy S8 and many other flagships on the market. The phone's 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display is covered with shatter-resistant plastic.

Specifications. The specifications of the Moto Z2 Force Edition are as good as can be expected for an Android flagship, with the exception of the water resistant rating and limited battery capacity.
