Diversity and Inclusion. I appreciate the mix of male and female characters who both take prominent roles throughout the film. A pet mentions his owner getting a fiancé and the camera pans to two women engaging in conversation, a nod to LGBTQ representation. And the voice cast is quite racially diverse.

Lulu is the main antagonist of Warner Animation Group's 10th feature film DC League of Super-Pets. She is a hairless guinea pig that was experimented on by Luthor and became a genius. Lulu was infused with psychic powers with a piece of a Kryptonite crystal. She is also the archenemy of Krypto.

I wouldn't recommend it for kids younger than 7-8 based on the adult jokes and subtle adult nods to themes some parents may not want their children to pick up on yet. I wish someone had written about them before we saw it. Good movie and well done, but not quite for our kids age range.

Merton the Turtle / Terrific Whatzit appears in DC League of Super-Pets, voiced by Natasha Lyonne. This version is a non-anthropomorphic female turtle who acquires super-speed after being exposed to orange Kryptonite and goes on to become the Flash's pet and a founding member of the titular League of Super-Pets.

Streaky the Supercat Streaky the Supercat (voiced by Brian Drummond), Krypto's best friend and sidekick, is an orange Somali cat with a yellow streak along his back who lives next door to Krypto and Kevin's family.

Howl's Moving Castle (2004) There the two fall in love in the midst of soul-bonded fires and alternate dimensions. This film is resoundingly queer not in the romantic dynamics but in the domestic life.

Of the 21 Studio Ghibli films released from 1986 to 2014, not one featured an openly LGBT+ character.

Kate McKinnon as Lulu, an evil hairless guinea pig who gains flight and telekinesis through orange Kryptonite.

Living The Dog Life. The game is fairly simple, though I had to go back and check on quite a few rules during my first play to get the details. While certainly a family-level game, the adults will definitely have to be the ones to teach the kids and make sure they stay on track with the rules.
