Twix Cookies & Creme TV commercial - En caso de emergencia

The Twix Cookies & Creme TV Spot starts with a man sitting in a car, listening to a radio advertisement. The advertisement informs the listeners that Twix has a new cookies and creme flavor that is now available. The man suddenly gets distracted by the advertisement, takes his eyes off the road, and ends up crashing his car.

As the man lies on the ground, hurt and helpless, a group of paramedics appears, rushing towards him. However, as they approach the man, they spot something shiny and wrapped in silver foil in his hand. It's a Twix Cookies and Creme candy bar. In an instant, their attention shifts from the injured man to the Twix bar, and they rush towards it.

As the paramedics fight over the Twix bar, the injured man watches in disbelief. Suddenly, the screen reads, "En caso de emergencia, rompa el Twix," which translates to "In case of emergency, break the Twix." The commercial ends with the Twix bar being broken in half, and the paramedics each taking a piece as the injured man looks on in shock.

Overall, the Twix Cookies & Creme TV Spot is a quirky and humorous advertisement that plays on the love for Twix candy bars while also poking fun at the absurdity of human behavior in times of stress.

Treat yourself anytime, anywhere with the TWIX® Cookies and Creme bar. A delightful cookies and cream filled center packed with crunchy cookie bits nestled under a rich coating of real milk chocolate and a crunchy cookie.

1990 Rewind to 1990, when Twix Cookies-n-Creme bars graced the candy aisle for a short time.

Longtime lovers of Twix may remember the fan-favorite flavor Cookies & Creme. The flavor is coming back after popular demand, having been discontinued in the past. The flavor replaces the classic caramel layer in original Twix with a soft, creme center with cookie bits throughout.

It's got a crunchy cookie center and the cream filling also has bits of cookie, so it's more of a clean break than you get with your typical Twix. There's no messy (but delicious!) caramel here...just cookies and creme.

The name is a portmanteau of "twin sticks". Twix was called Raider in mainland Europe for many years before its name was changed in 1991 (2000 in Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden and Turkey) to match the national brand name.

“It's short for 'twin sticks,'” they explained. Twix bar fans couldn't believe what the name stands for. Getty Images.

Twix first appeared in 1967 under an interesting disguise: the candy was named Raider and could only be found in the United Kingdom. Since the candy was so popular with the Brits, the candy's parent company, Mars Inc., introduced Twix to America 13 years later.

These Twix cookies are rounds of shortbread topped with caramel and milk chocolate. An easy and impressive cookie that tastes even better than the popular candy bar! I can never resist a Twix bar, and these cookies have that same gooey chocolate and caramel combination.

Like many confectionery items, Twix has been accused of shrinkflation, where, instead of increasing the cost of a bar, Mars, Inc. has decreased the size. A bar in the 1970s was 60g but in the 2020s they are 50g.

According to Twix themselves, Left Twix is described as smooth caramel on top of a crunchy cookie that is enveloped in creamy chocolate. As for Right Twix, the candy is described as chewy caramel on top of a crisp cookie, cloaked in velvety chocolate.

Twix, for those who aren't familiar with it, is a candy bar consisting of a crumbly cookie that's topped with caramel and enrobed in milk chocolate.
