Instructions

1. Create pom poms using the instructions on your pom pom maker and the yarn. Make enough to go across the yarn that will make your garland.
2. Trim all of the pom poms with the scissors.
3. Thread the yarn onto the tapestry needle, then thread the pom poms onto the garland through the centers.
4. Hang the garland.

Materials

1. thick yarn.
2. yarn needle.
3. scissors.
4. You may also choose to use a pom pom maker to make your pom poms instead of wrapping the yarn around your fingers. They aren't super expensive, but they also aren't really necessary.
5. You can make a great pom pom garland without it.

Each garland is 210cm long. A total of 42 pom poms alternating in diameter of 4 cm and 3 cm approx.

But enough so that you can wiggle your needle. Because if you don't it can just pull out all of the threads. And that is how we string on one. Now.

You will need

1. length of rope measured to the length of garland you require.
2. A reel of bind wire or twine.
3. Scissors or secateurs.
4. Foraged items: pine or fir, viburnum berries, rosehips, hedgerow treasures.

Instructions

1. Stack and fold the paper: For pom-poms: Stack eight 20-by-30-inch sheets of tissue.
2. Secure the center with floral wire: Fold an 18-inch piece of floral wire in half, and slip over center of folded tissue; twist.

We've got some blue spruce. Some beautiful junipers with gorgeous blueberries. And some arctic fire dogwood. For the pine cones that i gathered.

If you want to make perfect fluffy pom-poms with little waist and fuss then you've come to the right place I'll show you how to make round fluffy pom-poms. Using my favorite method that's coming up.

Poms are all measured the same way - by the length and the width of their strands--for instance 6” (long) x 3/4” (wide) or 12” (long) x 3/16” wide and so on. Please see the illustrations below. With a baton handle as shown below, the strand is measured from inside the baton out to the edge of the strand.

There are some Pomeranians who are larger like their ancestors and have been known to weigh up to around 14 pounds.

Typically, you can use nylon string, even fishing line, or cotton thread is great for this kind of project. Always cut long enough string so you can make loop on both ends. Example, if you want to make a 1 meter, 2 meter or any other length garland, we recommend you leave 20 cm extra length on both ends.

Starting from one end of your rope, take a handful of pine or fir and lay it over the end knot of your rope. Using your bind wire or twine, tightly wind it around the ends of your pine bunch to secure it to the rope. Don't cut your bind wire – leave it attached to the rope.
