LEGO Star Wars The Mandalorian The Child is a must-have set for any Star Wars or LEGO fan. This set is the perfect way to relive some of the most memorable moments from the first season of the hit Disney+ series, The Mandalorian.

The set features an incredibly detailed buildable version of The Child, affectionately known as Baby Yoda. The Child sits in a posable hovercraft that can be easily moved around any surface. The hovercraft has two stud shooters on the sides, a cockpit that can be opened, and a rotating turbine engine.

The Child itself has moveable ears and a posable head, allowing you to pose it in a variety of different expressions and positions. The set also comes with a brick-built stand for The Child that displays the iconic Baby Yoda in all its glory.

In addition to The Child, the set also includes the Mandalorian, complete with his signature armor and weapons. The weapons included are a blaster rifle, a blaster pistol, and a flamethrower. The Mandalorian has a detachable cape and a harness to carry his weapons, making it easy to pose him for battle scenes.

Overall, the LEGO Star Wars The Mandalorian The Child set is a perfect addition to any LEGO or Star Wars collection. The attention to detail in the buildable character and hovercraft is impressive, making it a fun and intricate set to work on. Fans of the show will love the accuracy of the LEGO rendition of The Child, making it a great display piece for any fan's shelf.

When engaging with LEGO®, children can be as adventurous as they want, allowing them to experiment, test out and build new ideas. Playing with LEGO® is known to have amazing benefits for the development of fine motor skills, developing dexterity and strength in the fingers.

But it isn't just kids who love Lego. In fact, as a brand, Lego has one of the most faithful adult fan bases of any company.

Assembly took around an hour and a half to piece together The Child. There's nothing too tricky in the instructions, but there are some satisfying techniques that bring the character to life. Especially when it comes to the head, which is really the section of the build that makes or breaks the set.

2 days ago I'll take that as another reason why modern LEGO sets are better than when I was a child. Eight numbered bags make up the pint-sized co-pilot: the first creates the interior, the next four make up the robe, bag six adds arms and the last couple form his head.

According to LEGO for Adults Head of Product Gen Cruz, however, that label is only intended to signify that a set has been designed first and foremost with adults in mind – and is therefore no indicator of difficulty.

The Child (75318) is a good set, but not something I would rush to get myself. It's a great gift and I'm happy to have it in my collection. But as I've already stated, I think the droid character builds currently work better as models. There's no denying the final build is super cute and easy to love.
