The Poise Impressa can be worn for 12 hours at a time, day or night. However, it should not be worn during one's menstrual cycle. After 12 hours of use, the Impressa should be removed and thrown away; it is NOT reusable.

In short, panty liners are smaller, thinner, and absorb less than incontinence pads. Our normal and long liners are more absorbent than the other liners in the Natracare range – we recommend them for use as a micro-pad.

Despite Tena being a recognisable name in the market, its products didn't perform especially well in our tests – the best-rating Tena product only scored 66%. Poise is another well-known brand, but its scores were a bit hit-and-miss.

Poise incontinence pads for women are made for bladder leaks, unlike period pads, which are meant for menstrual needs. Poise pads absorb bladder leaks, lock away wetness, and neutralize odors, helping you feel clean and fresh throughout the day.

Pads help you during your monthly cycle, while panty liners work for everything else and can be used on other days. You cannot really wear a pad every day due to its bulk. And while a panty liner may be of use for vaginal discharge, leakage, and spotting, it cannot replace the highly absorbent sanitary napkins.
