Iced Coffee. Dunkin' Original Blend Iced Coffee has been beloved for many years. It's brewed with double the amount of coffee, cooled and then poured over ice. This process, called double brewing, ensures that every cup of Iced Coffee's freshness and rich flavor is never compromised at the expense of serving it cold.

Iced coffee is a coffee beverage served cold. It may be prepared either by brewing coffee normally (i.e. carafe, French press, etc.) and then serving it over ice or in cold milk or by brewing the coffee cold. In hot brewing, sweeteners and flavoring may be added before cooling, as they dissolve faster.

We use 100 percent Arabica coffee beans and have our own coffee specifications, which are recognized by the industry as a superior grade of coffee. Based on Dunkin' Quality (DDQ) specifications, coffee is milled and processed specifically for Dunkin'.

The first iced coffee was known as mazagran. This sweet and cold coffee beverage was reportedly developed by the French military during the Battle of Mazagran. When the French army ran out of milk, they added water to their coffee instead. Additionally, they chose to drink it cold due to the harsh outdoor heat.
