The PS4/PS5 unfortunately doesn't have Backwards Compatibility like the Xbox consoles do, and the team is focused on the next game, not remastering/remaking or porting previous titles to current gen.

To a mixed reception, it was announced that the game will be free-to-play and support cross-platform play and progression. There will even be a mobile version of the game, joining the PC, Playstation and Xbox platforms.

Can You Play Skate 3 on PC? Although there is no Skate 3 PC version currently, you can still play it on a PC via an emulator. The recommended Skate 3 emulator is RPCS3. Many people will use this PS3 emulator to play Skate 3 on a PC.

Full Circle says opting for a free-to-play model meant laying down some firm ground rules about the use of microtransactions in Skate, which will be necessary to bring in the revenue needed for long-term support.

Skate 4 will be available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S, EA has confirmed.
