Tailgater models are self aligning portable dishes powered by the coaxial connection to the Wally or 211-family receiver. The Tailgater 1, 2, 3, & Pro support one or two receiver(s) on satellites 119, 110, and 129.

Programming is coming from it will download the program guide to the receiver. And it will reconfigure the receiver for the satellites that you were able to find all of that is fully automatic.

The great thing about the DISH Tailgater is that it's satellite TV, which has about 99% coverage in the US. So expect a clear HD picture as long as your antenna has an unobstructed view of the southern sky. But you might have some reception problems when piloting your RV through mountainous regions or downtown areas.

Simply plug the Tailgater antenna into a compatible DISH HD Solo receiver (required, sold separately) with the included 35 feet of coax cable and connect the satellite receiver to your TV (you will need access to 110v AC or a power inverter to power the DISH receiver and TV).
