IntroductionSprint is an American telecommunications company that is known for providing wireless services, internet services, and more. The company was founded in 1899 as the Brown Telephone Company,...
The Sprint Framily Plan was a mobile phone plan that was launched in January 2014. The plan allowed a group of up to 10 friends or family members to share the same account and receive discounts on their monthly bills. Each member had their own separate bill, so they didn't have to worry about pooling their minutes or data.
The plan had a base price of $55 per month for unlimited talk, text, and 1GB of data. Additional members could be added to the plan for $30 per month, per line. The more lines that were added, the lower the overall cost became. For example, if seven lines were added to the plan, the cost per line would be reduced to $25 per month.
The Sprint Framily Plan also had a unique feature called "Framily ID," which was like a group chat for all members of the plan. This allowed members to communicate with each other and make changes to the plan, such as adding or removing members.
However, with the merger of Sprint and T-Mobile, the Framily Plan is no longer available. Instead, T-Mobile offers a similar family plan called the "Magenta Max Family Plan," which includes unlimited talk, text, and data for up to four lines. Each additional line can be added for a discounted rate.
