A large hamburger called the Whopper is Burger King's signature product. The Whopper was introduced in 1957, at a time when its competitor McDonald's was still selling only small hamburgers. The chain took a new direction by adding hot dogs to the menu in 2016.

The Whopper is a hamburger, consisting of a flame grilled quarter-pound (113.4 g) beef patty, sesame seed bun, mayonnaise, lettuce, tomato, pickles, ketchup, and sliced onion. Optional ingredients such as processed cheese, bacon, mustard, guacamole or jalapeño peppers may be added upon request.

2016 The Whopperito is a Burger King menu item that was introduced in 2016. It consists of most of the ingredients of the Whopper wrapped inside a tortilla.

By default, the Impossible Whopper is topped with tomatoes, lettuce, mayonnaise, ketchup, pickles, and onions; customers can ask for toppings to be added or removed. It can be ordered with cheese. It is typically cooked on the same grill as meat patties, though customers can request for it to be cooked separately.

In a 58-second slot released two weeks ago, BK states, “A burger is a burger. Whopper is well the Whopper. And yet people mix them up.” The clear distinctions, as per BK, lies in the towering seven layers of the Whopper and its size, which is bigger “in all CAPS.”

Some people thought this menu item was a bit weird, but others found it surprisingly tasty. The burger got some social media buzz but was quickly discontinued three short months after its launch. In all, the Whopperito wasn't very well-received, which makes the chance of a comeback next to nil.

The Halloween Whopper was a limited time burger made in October of 2015 to promote the Halloween holiday.

The Impossible Whopper patty includes soy and potato proteins, coconut and sunflower oils, and something called “heme,” a protein molecule containing iron that occurs naturally in plants and animals. The original Whopper ($4.39) has 660 calories, 28 grams of protein, 40 grams of fat and 90 mg of cholesterol.

It's just whopper. But when you today quite quite a disappointment if you forget to say whopper with cheese. But it also influences. Things because it's less calorie something that's a Big Mac it.

Junior. Available for those who don't enjoy the normal size of the whopper. Or anyone who's trying to eat fast food in moderation. Just as flavorful as the original.

BK got a few folks to try and tell the difference between a burger and a Whopper. Initially, the unanimous opinion was that both are burgers. But when they took the first bite, the difference became evident. Factors like juicy, more ingredients, super sauces, grill marks (proof that patty is barbecued) emerged.
