I would totally recommend this product for people with dry and chapped lips. This is one of the most moisturizing chapsticks I've ever used. The oils feel beautiful on the lips, but not greasy. The vanilla scent is amazing, and I love the packaging.

While both products may contain similar ingredients, the proportions, and formulations can vary. Chapstick typically contains more wax and lip balms usually contain more oils or other emollients for better hydration and suppleness.

If you're not allergic, Vaseline isn't likely to cause harm or make your lips drier - it just may not be the best option for hydrating lips and preventing the delicate skin from becoming chapped. Other things to try for dry lips include: Try lip balms that contain: argan oil.

Unlike lip balm, men's lip moisturizer absorbs into your skin - it doesn't sit "on top" of your lips. When I've used lip balms in the past, I found they gave my lips a shine (not right in my book), but I didn't get this when I used a moisturizer.
