Easy to use with only three steps

1. Take a clean, empty container (e.g., plastic cup or a glass) and fill with enough warm water to fully submerge the device.
2. Place your retainer, mouth guard, clear braces or even your plastic case, in the effervescing solution.
3. Soak for 5 minutes.

Soak the night guard in distilled white vinegar for at least 30 minutes. After soaking, rinse the night guard and the bowl with water. Then soak the night guard in hydrogen peroxide for at least 30 more minutes. Once finished, rinse with water and allow the night guard to dry completely.

For this, you can use both vinegar and hydrogen peroxide. Step 1: Soak the night guard in distilled white vinegar (1 part vinegar to 3 parts water) for 30 minutes. After this step, rinse the night guard. Then take the same cup or bowl, rinse it and fill it with hydrogen peroxide and soak it for another 30 minutes.

Experts say that you should clean your retainer at least once a day. You may also want to deep-clean it in an antibacterial denture cleaner once a week. This can help kill any bacteria on your retainer.

To clean with denture cleaner, people should rinse the retainer and then allow it to soak in the denture cleaner for about 20 minutes. After taking it out, they should then gently scrub it with a soft toothbrush. If the retainer tastes like denture cleaner afterward, rinsing should continue until it no longer does.

Use a non-abrasive denture cleaner, not toothpaste. Be careful not to scrub too hard as this may cause grooves in the surface. Make sure you brush all the surfaces of the dentures, including the surface that fits against your gums. This is especially important if you use any kind of denture fixative.

Brush your dentures at least daily. Remove and gently clean your dentures daily. Soak and brush them with a soft-bristled brush and nonabrasive denture cleanser to remove food, plaque and other deposits. If you use denture adhesive, clean the grooves that fit against your gums to remove any remaining adhesive.
