Frequently Asked Questions about mcdonald's tv spot, 'uber eats: $5 off'

Because Uber Eats is only available when there are drivers awake and signed on to take deliveries. If it's late during the night especially there are probably no drivers available and since Uber Eats is a an independent company using independent drivers, McDonald's has no control over that.

Recently, it emerged that McDonald's has decided that delivery apps, such as Uber Eats and DoorDash, were charging too much for their services. So the burger chain renegotiated its contract and declared its franchisees would now be able to make more money.

For delivery orders placed using the McDonald's app, select your reward item and add that to your McDelivery order. Rewards cannot be redeemed for delivery orders placed with a third party operator such as DoorDash and Uber Eats.

Sources familiar with the matter told Insider that DoorDash decided to end its partnership with Walmart because it was no longer mutually beneficial and because the delivery company wanted to focus on “its long-term customer relationships.”

DoorDash is the cheapest service for small orders For all three orders under $20, DoorDash had the cheapest total cost, sometimes by a significant margin. In total, DoorDash was nearly $10 cheaper than Grubhub and about $6 cheaper than Uber Eats.

How many McDonald's deals can be used at a time? You can only redeem one McDonald's deal per person, per visit.

Redeem Free McDonald's Go to the Rewards & Deals tab. There you can select the menu item you want to redeem. Choose 'Use at Restaurant' to get the Drive Thru code, or select 'Use Restaurant Code' when you're inside to reveal the code to use at the counter or kiosk.

DoorDash said last week it is ending its four-year delivery partnership with Walmart. The partners have said the split comes as Walmart continues to focus on being its own third-party delivery service and DoorDash chooses to focus on its long-term customer relationships.

After four years of delivering groceries to Walmart's customers, DoorDash and the supermarket giant have officially parted ways, according to a source close to the matter. The San Francisco-based delivery service reportedly gave Walmart a 30-day notice, meaning the partnership will formally end in September.

DoorDash has a similar pay structure to Uber Eats. It offers base pay that generally runs from $2 to $10 per ride, and this includes any distance- or time-related additions. There can be surge pricing (which DoorDash calls Peak Pay) as well as other promotions and incentives, and DoorDash drivers receive tips.

Food delivery apps come in handy when you're busy at work or you just don't feel like leaving the house, but that doesn't mean it should cost you $15 for a $5 meal. Uber Eats and Grubhub were pretty close, but Uber Eats came out as the cheapest food delivery service.

At this time, you are limited to redeeming one reward per order.
