Place your handle on the charger. Make sure that the charger is plugged in to a live outlet. Leave the handle on the charger for at least 45 seconds. Remove your handle from the charger and place it back on the charger for at least 45 seconds four more times.

A not fully-charged toothbrush battery might need more power to make the toothbrush vibrate. We recommend charging it for at least 24 hours. You can always leave your toothbrush on the charger to avoid this from happening again. If you have not used your toothbrush for a month or more, your battery may have run out.

You can choose between three different intensity levels: low, medium, and high. To increase the intensity level, press the + button. Press the - button to decrease. You can do this at any time during the brushing cycle.

There are two main causes for charging faults inside the toothbrush, either damaged components for example from being dropped or from water seeping inside, or a failed battery.

Check if the Pressure Sensor is activated. Your toothbrush measures the pressure you apply while brushing. If you press too hard, it briefly stops, indicating that you are using too much pressure.

If your toothbrush makes an abnormally loud noise, a loose brush head may be the reason. Ensure the brush head is firmly placed on the handle and not loose. A small gap will remain between the handle and brush head as needed for vibration.

How does the pressure sensor feedback work on my Sonicare toothbrush? Your Sonicare toothbrush measures the pressure you apply while brushing to protect your gums and teeth. If you apply too much pressure, the handle will change its vibration. You will be alerted when you apply too much pressure.

How do I enable or disable the pressure sensor on my Sonicare?

1. Place the handle on the charger.
2. Press the power button while the handle remains on the charger.
3. Keep the power button pressed until you hear three short beeps (after 7 seconds).
4. Release the power button.

The battery life of your Sonicare toothbrush depends on how often and how long you brush. Based on a two minute brushing session twice per day, the battery will last at least two to three weeks with a full charge.
