MAXUp provides extra benefits on top of what you're already getting when you have a Magenta® plan. Get 40GB, 50GB or 100GB of high-speed mobile hotspot data and you can activate up to 4k UHD streaming. You'll also get up to 5GB of high-speed data in 215+ countries and destinations and Scam Shield Premium.

SMHS is included with Magenta, ONE Plan, and Simple Choice plans. The price varies depending on the data allotment of your plan, such as 5 GB with our Magenta or Magenta MAX plan with 40 GB. You can add more high-speed data if you need to.

T-Mobile Magenta Max also offers unlimited texting and data (up to 256kbps) across 210+ countries, not to mention unlimited in-flight texting and Wi-Fi on planes with Gogo internet services.

Magenta MAX (All Versions): Activation required to deliver video streams at speeds that provide up to Ultra HD video capability (max 4K); some content providers may not stream their services in UHD. Tethering: 40 GB high-speed data then unlimited on our network at max 3G speeds.

How Long will 40GB of Data Last?

If you have a plan like this, the odds are your hotspot data limit is anywhere between 10 GB and 100 GB of hotspot data per month. If you go beyond these data limits, your data speed may be slowed. Note that on "unlimited data" mobile plans, you likely still have a hotspot data cap or limit to keep in mind.
