There is a place that calls itself the judgment free zone because no one is permitted to judge others, be prideful, or feel ostracized (everyone is welcome, everyone belongs)

While gym-goers felt most judged for their weight, the most common reason that people admitted to judging others was over other gym-goers' clothing choices (47.3 percent), followed by their weight (39.9 percent), improperly using the equipment (35.2 percent), and taking a gym selfie (34.6 percent).

Things like wearing the right gym clothes or avoiding some kinds of exercises might signal that you're part of the group and help you attract less attention. That's a little wishy-washy though, and the real answer here is much simpler: time. Over time, you'll start to feel more comfortable in the gym.

Just limit your screen time to low- or moderate-intensity workouts, and don't get so wrapped up you start ignoring your body's own cues. And don't forget about low-tech ways to make your workout more enjoyable, too: Get outside, recruit a buddy, or join a club. Plenty of distraction, no screen required.
