Optional: If you would like to have any previous high school credits evaluated for potential transfer credit, provide your official transcript to Penn Foster and they will complete an in-house evaluation to see if your previous courses match the Penn Foster curriculum and content.

Once you have passed all your courses, you will receive your diploma from Penn Foster High School. You can graduate in as little as three years. Or, if you qualify for credit from previous schooling, you can finish in as little as nine months for each year of high school you need.

The process usually takes about one to three weeks from the time your Guild application is approved. Guild will send you an email once your transcripts are sent to Penn Foster or if Guild isn't able to get your transcript. Once you have passed all your online courses, you will receive your diploma, certificate, or degree from Penn Foster. Depending upon the program you choose, you can complete your training in just a few months or take up to two years to complete a program, depending on the program.
