Grow and Gain is the most common Pediasure supplement. It's meant to help kids grow in height and gain weight. While Pediasure may provide additional nutrients that support growth and development, there is no evidence that it can increase height in teens or any other age group.

If your child follows a balanced diet, PediaSure may not be recommended. Additionally, it's advisable to use the product only with the doctor's consent, especially for children under two. Also, refrain from giving it more than the recommended number of times per day since it may replace meals.

What are the age guidelines for PediaSure? PediaSure provides a good source of protein and has vitamins and minerals for children ages 2-13. Consult your doctor before giving PediaSure to a child younger than 2 years old.

If an adult who can tolerate milk protein wants to drink PediaSure products, there should be no contraindications. If, however, the adult needs a complete liquid nutrition product to replace all foods and beverages in the daily diet, PediaSure would not be the best choice, and we would recommend Ensure® instead.
