GLOCK G48 tv commercials

The Glock G48 is a semi-automatic pistol that has gained popularity among firearm enthusiasts and law enforcement agencies. Introduced in 2019, the G48 offers a unique blend of compactness and firepower, making it a versatile option for various applications.

One of the notable features of the Glock G48 is its sleek and slim profile. Measuring at just 7.28 inches in length and 5.04 inches in height, this pistol is designed for concealed carry, making it ideal for personal defense or undercover operations. The slim frame and single-stack magazine contribute to its impressive concealability, ensuring it can be easily and comfortably carried for extended periods.

Chambered in 9mm Luger, the G48 packs a punch despite its smaller size. It utilizes a striker-fired system, providing a consistent trigger pull and minimal trigger reset for quick follow-up shots. The pistol also features Glock's Safe Action System, which incorporates three automatic safety features to prevent accidental discharges.

The G48 boasts a standard magazine capacity of 10 rounds, with options for extended magazines that increase the capacity to 15 rounds. This makes it well-suited for both self-defense and duty use, providing users with an ample amount of firepower.

Another notable aspect of the Glock G48 is its durable construction. The pistol is made from a combination of polymer and steel, ensuring its reliability and longevity. Glock's reputation for producing reliable firearms is further exemplified in the G48, as it undergoes rigorous testing and quality control measures before leaving the factory.

In terms of ergonomics, the G48 features Glock's signature interchangeable backstraps, allowing users to customize the grip size to suit their preferences. This ensures a comfortable fit and improved control, making it easier to handle and shoot accurately.

Overall, the Glock G48 offers a compact and reliable option for those in search of a concealed carry or duty pistol. Its slim profile, impressive firepower, and Glock's renowned durability make it a popular choice among firearm enthusiasts and professionals alike. Whether for personal defense or professional use, the Glock G48 delivers on performance and reliability.

Frequently Asked Questions about glock g48

If you're looking into concealability, you're looking at the right pistol. The G48 is one of the easiest to conceal pistols because of its low-profile design. It's similar to carrying a Glock 19, with a thinner profile that is more comfortable to carry. The Glock 48 was created with concealment in mind.

The Glock 48 comes with a 10-round magazine from the factory, it's Glock's normal polymer-coated steel magazine.

The G48 operates using the same striker ignition system, short-recoil operation, locked-breech barrel and Safe-Action trigger as found in other Glocks. This model is manufactured in Austria and imported through the company's Smyrna, Ga., facility.

G48 Black. Chambered in 9mm Luger the G48 features a compact Slimline frame and a black slide. The 10-round magazine capacity makes it ideal for concealed carry.

Either of these pistols are excellent concealed carry handguns. The Glock 19 definitely gets the edge for capacity (15+1 vs 10+1), but at the expense of an overall bulkier pistol. For some – those with larger hands - this might be a good thing, but many will appreciate the flatter profile of the Glock 48.

Glock 43X – Built to be easy to carry and comfortable to shoot. It's a compromise in size that does most things well but nothing exceptional outside of comfort. Glock 48 – The Glock 48 is the biggest gun in the slimline series, but also the easiest to shoot accurately, rapidly, and with total control.

Now, the texture is going to vary a little bit differently depending on the generation. The Glock 48, I believe, is a Glock Gen5 according to the manufacturer.

At that weight difference, two ounces make a very big difference. If you're trying to carry the gun with a belt, the Glock 48 is actually going to be a better concealed-carry firearm. That's because those two extra ounces are moved more towards the muzzle of the gun.

The Glock 48 is chambered in 9x19mm and has a standard magazine capacity of 10 rounds. The Glock 48 is commonly viewed as a single-stack Glock 19 due to its compact size. Most of the dimensions are very similar to the G19, but some things are slightly different, and a few things significantly so.

The Glock 48 is somewhat easier to shoot than the smaller Glock 43. Those extra ounces help to absorb recoil. Weight out from helps, too, and the longer slide provides this, as well as some extra sight radius.

Thanks to its broader design, the Glock 19 outperforms the Glock 48 in ammo capacity. With its standard magazine, it carries 15+1 (in the chamber) rounds of 9mm ammunition. In contrast, the slimmer Glock 48 sacrifices some ammo capacity for a more streamlined design. Its magazine holds 10+1 rounds of 9mm ammo.

Either of these pistols are excellent concealed carry handguns. The Glock 19 definitely gets the edge for capacity (15+1 vs 10+1), but at the expense of an overall bulkier pistol. Shooting the Glock 48. Being a polymer single-stack pistol, the G48 is somewhat snappier than similar sized double-stack pistols. The reduced slide and frame weight just allows you to feel more of that recoil. But as I'm used to shooting plastic guns, I found it to be just fine and not at all difficult to manage.

Accuracy. The Glock 48 was the most accurate gun out of the ten pistols we tested. Shooting sixty rounds of three different kinds of 9mm ammunition, it turned in groups that averaged just under three inches.

Glock 43X – Built to be easy to carry and comfortable to shoot. It's a compromise in size that does most things well but nothing exceptional outside of comfort.
