Haribo Starmix is one of Haribo's long serving and much loved mixed sweet bags. Each packet contains an irresistible collection of gummy bears, chewy rings, cola bottles, fried eggs and those red chewy hearts with the white foam back.

The new recipe was developed to “meet with the expectations of Haribo consumers who love fruity and juicy confectionery”. Claire James, trade marketing manager for Haribo UK, comments: “Starmix has a huge following and there is a real love for the iconic shapes found in each bag.

The name HARIBO comes from HAns RIegel BOnn and represents happiness, variety and fun treats for young and old alike. Germany The Goldbears account for Haribo's largest revenue share. According to the company, their brand awareness in Germany is 99 percent and the Goldbear stands for childlike joy. For the German market, they are coloured with natural fruit extracts, in contrast to the use of colourants in the past.

The most popular Haribo sweet in the UK is Haribo Starmix. The popular Haribo sweet sells over 87 million bags in the UK every year, with Haribo generating over £171m in sales itself.
