For the 11th consecutive year, FS1 and FS2 will provide coverage of the BIG EAST Women's Basketball Tournament, with this season's event returning to Mohegan Sun Arena for a fourth consecutive year.

Madison Square Garden The BIG EAST Tournament at Madison Square Garden will be played March 13-16. FOX and FS1 will continue to televise the event. The BIG EAST Tournament has been held at MSG since 1983. It is college basketball's longest running conference postseason tournament held at the same venue.

Big East Tournament Awards After UConn won the Big East Tournament championship, the Huskies were showered with confetti and the team basked in the mutli-colored glory. The players already sensed that Aaliyah Edwards would win the Tournament's Most Outstanding Player and sure enough, the trophy was hers.

The BIG EAST Tournament format is double elimination. The top four teams from the regular season qualified for the tournament. Games will start at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday and the BIG EAST Championship finals are scheduled for 2 p.m. on May 27, with a possible final game scheduled at 5:30 p.m.
