'Young Jedi Adventures' Adds LGBTQ+ Rep To The 'Star Wars' Galaxy. Kids have always loved Star Wars, but now they have an animated series geared specifically toward them and it even has LGBTQ+ representation!

Star Wars's most recent kid-centric animated series Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures has made a major milestone for the canon. The series is set in the landmark High Republic Era, featured in books of the same title, The High Republic publishing initiative.

Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures is a sugary-sweet, vividly-conjured animated series. It's crafted specifically for the preschool and early-grade crowd for their very first introduction to the infinite wonders of the magical Star Wars universe.

Phase 1 of the High Republic The upcoming live-action series Star Wars: The Acolyte will be set in the tail-end of this era, while Young Jedi Adventures takes place during Phase 1 of the High Republic, approximately 200 years before the Skywalker Saga movies. According to Waugh, this evolution was always part of Lucasfilm's plan.

In much of Star Wars media, it is shown that male Jedi are more common than female. However, more recently this has slowly been changing. Projects such as Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Ahsoka have aimed to put the spotlight on the most powerful women Jedi in the modern Star Wars universe.

This is the most well-known of the Jedi rules. Love leads to attachment and attachment leads to strong emotions, which are the path to the Dark Side of the Force. Because of this, Jedi are forbidden to fall in love.

While the term itself made a few appearances in the Star Wars Legends continuity, the Gray Jedi have yet to be officially referenced in canon. It's worth noting that the Lucasfilm Story Group has never embraced the term, believing that Gray Jedi can't be canon for misunderstanding balance as described by George Lucas.

Most parents - at least those who, like me, are inordinately attached to Star Wars - felt that around four to seven years old was the sweet spot. At that age, most children have sufficient attention span to sit down and follow a feature-length story.

In the past, George Lucas has stated that Jedi monks are actually allowed to have sex, but not get married: "Jedi Knights aren't celibate - the thing that is forbidden is attachments - and possessive relationships."
