The robots are coming, and they're bringing pizza. This week, Domino's is rolling out a robot car delivery service to select customers in Houston. For those who opt in, their pies will arrive in a fully autonomous vehicle made by Nuro.

The restaurant company said Monday that an autonomous car made by Nuro will start delivering pizzas in Houston this week as part of a pilot program. Customers will have to place a prepaid order on Domino's website for delivery from the chain's Woodland Heights location.

Serve's robots fit up to four piestro pies and deliver them to customers' doors for a completely touch-free end-to-end transaction. Customers enter a passcode to retrieve their pizza from the delivery robot.
