Frequently Asked Questions about burger king spicy chicken fries tv spot, 'pretty neat'

Earlier this year, BK debuted Spicy Chicken Fries, an earlier riff on the original that Brauze developed. The coating includes four sources of heat - ghost peppers, cayenne, black pepper and paprika - along with garlic and onion powder to round out the flavor profile.

Burger King first launched these breaded and fried chicken strips in 2005 but stopped offering them in 2012. However, after a fan-driven campaign to bring the menu item back, it returned through a limited run in 2014.

But I am supposed to write more than a few sentences, so I guess I should carry on. The spice level is just about perfect. These things are about as spicy as the (excellent) Wendy's Spicy Chicken Nuggets, or perhaps just a tad spicier. It's a zingy kind of spicy that stops just short of making your nose run.

The Ghost Pepper Chicken Fries will be available in four, eight, and 12 pieces, with a choice of dipping sauce, while the Ghost Pepper Whopper, which first made an appearance on the menu in 2022, will be crafted with a beef patty as the base with spicy queso, crispy jalapeños, bacon, and ghost pepper cheese on top ...

Burger King Zesty Sauce Ingredients Prepared horseradish. Cayenne pepper. Prepared mustard. White vinegar.

Burger King Burger King's fries are described on the site as “piping hot and perfectly salted.” While they were warm and pretty salty, they were too thick and not cooked enough. It tasted like I was eating a hot, raw potato. It wasn't even like a steak fry, which I do enjoy.

The product was discontinued in January 2012, replaced with Burger King's version of chicken strips in March of that year.

The chicken is meaty and there is a good ratio of breading to chicken. The fries are very flavorful and they don't need a sauce, but sending a default barbecue sauce would have been nice (you know, like McDonald's does.) They leave a little heat in the back and sides of the tongue and they are really easy to eat.

After much debate, Burger King wins the battle with the crispiest, tastiest fries of the bunch. McDonald's came in a close second, followed by Chick-fil-A and Wendy's.
