The Coffee Coolatta will be discontinued in the next few months and replaced with Dunkin's revamped Frozen Coffee, a frozen beverage that packs a bit more coffee taste than its predecessor. “Our Coffee Coolatta isn't good enough,” Chris Fuqua, senior vice president for the brand, said during a media event Tuesday.

Dunkin Donuts Frozen Coffee Coolatta With Cream Small (16 fl oz) contains 53g total carbs, 53g net carbs, 27g fat, 3g protein, and 460 calories.

The frozen drink was discontinued to make room for new items the brand wanted to introduce to its menu. The company announced that the Coffee Coolatta "isn't good enough" during its annual media day in 2017.

It may vary some stores use older machines so instead of ice it may be a frozen slushy-like product but other than that it is typically ice, flavor syrups and dairy (for the frozen coffee/chocolate) blended with water and liquid sugar.

Coolatta fans who have been sipping on the menu staple since its inception in 1994 aren't taking the news too well, and many of them have shared their dismays on social media (some of which are slightly more dramatic than others). Will you miss the Coolatta? Yes! It was the best of the '90s.

Coolattas: o Coffee Coolatta with Cream (16 ounces) has 22 grams of fat, 14 of which are saturated fat. o Vanilla Bean Coolatta (16 ounces) has 17 grams of fat, 15 of which are saturated fat, and 69 grams of sugars = 17.25 teaspoons. o Tropicana Orange Coolatta (16 ounces) has 87 grams of sugars = 21.75 teaspoons.

This Coolatta is legit delicious. It essentially tastes like milk and about 2-3 full Kit Kat sticks tossed in a blender with some ice. You get plenty of little chocolate pieces and soggy wafers (which are better than that sounds) in every slushy sip. Dunkin' didn't skimp at all here.
